New Features for the 2021 Toyota Sequoia

An Overview of the New Features for the 2021 Toyota Sequoia

With the arrival of numerous 2021 Toyota models, news came out today about the 2021 Toyota Sequoia. As the brand’s full-size SUV option, the model has been a part of its second-generation since it was introduced in 2008. Despite the lengthy stay, Toyota continues to add unique features to the model to keep it consistent with its other offerings – namely in a new Nightshade Edition trim and the return of the standard Toyota Safety Sense™ P features. New Color Option and Nightshade Edition

Several new features have been added to the 2021 Toyota Sequoia. With the introduction to the TRD Pro model, an additional exterior color choice will be available. As a result, the Lunar Rock color will replace the Army green color pallet and will turn heads with the off-road trim. However, the biggest addition is in the Nightshade Edition, which are modified versions based on the SE grade trims. Equipped with black leather-trim seating and black exterior trim, the model looks as imposing as night itself. Available in both 2WD and 4WD, the model’s exterior can be customized with up to three color options and comes with darkened chrome badging, body moldings, and other features.

Standard Toyota Safety Sense Pâ„¢ Returns

With the change to safety features in 2020, Toyota continues to provide enhanced safety features to every 2021 Toyota Sequoia model. This means that the standard Toyota Safety Sense Pâ„¢ lineup will return, which includes feature such as:

  • Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
  • Lane Departure Alert with Sway Warning System
  • Automatic High Beams
  • Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

The STAR Safety System will also come standard on top of the features listed above. This provides Vehicle Stability Control, an Anti-Lock Braking System, and Traction Control (or Active-Traction Control on 4WD models), among others. Especially when it comes to safety, Toyota doesn’t mess around.
